The idea of the festival is not only to be a showcase for the best contemporary films and new authors, but has also many special programs in order to put the attention on stories that matters. Inclusivity, human and civil rights, transfeminism, antifascism and resistance are themes that will have a lot of space both in the competition and in the special programs.
We accept all kind of shorts: fiction, animation and documentaries.
The festival will have several programs but all films will compete for all awards (except for the SAVT award that is tied to the theme of labour rights)
Set in Valle d'Aosta, a region at the border with Switzerland and France, the festival have also a strong intention to create bridges with those countries in an Industry section and with a special francophone program.
The festival will have 4 different juries: Young jury, Technical jury, animation jury and Critics jury.

- SAVT Award: worth €500, presented by the Syndicat Valdôtain des Travailleurs to the film that best explores issues related to the labor market and working life
- Bear With me award in partnership with Bear with me Distributions that will offer distribution strategy consultancy
- SuperBref Award for the best film under 5 minutes
- CreepShort Award for the best film of the Creepshorts program in partnership with BloodStreamTV that will offer a streaming contract
- Resist! Award worth €500 for the best film that explores themes related to resistance
- FEDIC award for best Italian short
- Queer ed ora award for best film representing LGBTQI+ community in partnership with Arcigay Nazionale
- PremioBIM for the best film with environmental theme, in partnership with BIM Valle d'Aosta
